    What are some influences for Vegetarian diet?
    Most vegetarians are influence by the fact that they don't want to harm or kill animals for their meals so they eat vegetables and fruits instead. Sometimes it is also because of religious influences. It has also been known that people have been believing that our ancestors were vegetarians from the beginning of human evolution and raising animals for meat was not common back then.

    Start with a base of coconut milk, I usually use a whole can.
    Add plenty of any fruit you’d like. I like to use frozen berries. I use either mixed berries, strawberries, blackberries or even cranberries, which give a very tangy taste to my smoothie. The berries add lots of great color to the smoothie and provide lots of beneficial antioxidants.

    With our growing industrialisation of the food markets more and more of our foods in the supermarket are no longer organic they are all changed from the vegetables to the Meat, the movie "Food Inc" gives a good inside on this, a Paleo diet is chosen by a lot of protestors who want an organic diet that defies our modern day food industry. It has been established that a the diet is the foundation of a healthier way of eating. Many of the people with this diet do it because of these personal beleives that organic is the future and we can't go on like we are right now.
    Benefits and constraint:
    Benefits:
    Their are plenty of Benefits to the paleo diet, your high intake of Meat, fish, poultry ect will increase your body mass and will eliminate fat and help you build up muscle. The diet involves eating things you could find in the wild like roots, nuts and fruit so you will get a lot more vitamins then you usually would keeping you healthier. Another Benefit is that the diet will forbid you to eat any sort of food high in transfats and oils like fast food and will help you loose weight very quickly, that is if you follow it exactly right.
    Constraints:
    As the Paleo diet involves you eating foods that could have been eaten 10 000 years ago by a cavemen, it is not always easy to find those products in the supermarket or even in the wild as many of us either do not know how to find food in the wild or how to pick out the foods in the supermarket that did excist back then. Supermarkets and the food industry alter our foods in more ways then one and it would be nearly impossible to find a product in the supermarket that has not been changed to fit the demands of us.
    Recipe:
    Savoury
    Bacon & sweet potato salad
    Serves 6
    Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled, cut in cubes;
    4 slices bacon;
    1 medium onion, finely chopped;
    2 cloves garlic, minced;
    1 1/2 tbsp homemade or Dijon mustard;
    2 tbsp lemon juice;
    4 loosely packed cups baby spinach;
    2 tbsp lard or other cooking fat;
    Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste;
    Preparation
    Place the sweet potato cubes in a pot of cold water, bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes, until tender.
    In the mean time, cook the bacon slices over a medium heat in a large pan until crisp, about.4 minutes per side. Set aside
    Add the onion and garlic to the pan as well as the additional cooking fat and cook until the onions are soft, about 5 minutes. Season liberally with black pepper.
    Turn off the heat and stir in the lemon juice and mustard.
    Drain the cooked sweet potato cubes and place in a bowl.
    Add the baby spinach with the sweet potatoes and combine well and pour the cooked onions with all the drippings on top.
    Crumble the cooked bacon over, combine and serve

    Add one or two whole raw eggs. I wouldn’t worry about having them raw especially if you use free range, naturally fed and organic eggs. The taste will not bother you either, it passes completely under the radar, I just put in the eggs for extra proteins and fat.
    Optionally add one or two spoonfuls of your favorite nut butter. The taste will be really subtle in your final smoothie, but it will still be there as a nice aftertaste.
    I like to put in a good dose or pure vanilla extract to finish this flavor explosion.
